There are a wide variety of modern amusement facilities, with various structures and sports styles, varying greatly in size and appearance. At present, the amusement facilities can be divided into 13 categories according to the sports characteristics, namely: horse turning, gliding, gyroscope, flying tower, racing car, automatic controlled aircraft, sightseeing vehicle, small train, aerial sightseeing vehicle, photoelectric target shooting, water amusement facilities, bumper car, battery car, outward bound training, etc.
Amusement ride include more than 20 kinds of sightseeing vehicles, taxiing vehicles, gyroscopes, overhead sightseeing vehicles, etc. Amusement ride are divided into three levels: A, B and C. Class A equipment has the highest risk factor, followed by Class B equipment, and Class C equipment has the lowest risk factor. Previously, the A-level equipment of Amusement ride was inspected by the state. As a compulsory inspection item, the state, on the premise of confirming that the provincial inspection unit has the ability to detect the Amusement ride, will implement the detection of some Amusement ride to the provincial inspection unit, so as to adapt to the current situation of safety management of Amusement ride and ensure the safe use of Amusement ride. After the grading adjustment, equipment that has been adjusted from Class A to Class B will be regularly inspected by the Special Equipment Supervision and Inspection Institute of the Quality Supervision Bureau.
